Athena has always been fascinated by capturing the beauty found in the smallest things. Through her life’s journey, she has discovered that beauty can create a joyful life and peaceful mind. Believing that “beauty will save the world” (Fyodor Dostoevsky), she seeks to inspire others to find their own beauty in this complex world where beauty is often captured only in glimpses and easily forgotten.

Athena graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts with an MA in Visual Arts (2014) and a BA in Arts Pedagogy (2011). She has been a member of Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association since 2018. She has been exhibiting her artwork in various local and international art exhibitions since 2009. In addition to being an art teacher, she has focused on art commissions for clients from various countries. Her artwork is found in private collections around the world.

Athena has been a resident of Virginia since 2020. While getting used to a new life in the town of Ashland, she has continued to pursue her art career as a commission artist. She has also enjoyed participating in local galleries such as Art Works, Crossroads Art Center, and international online exhibitions such as The Almenara Collection.

Her favorite medium is oil on canvas or panels, and watercolor on silk. However, Athena also works with many other materials, including acrylic, gouache, watercolor, pencil, woodcut, and more.
